Trata-se do <strong>primeiro documento oficial<\/strong> contendo informa\u00e7\u00f5es unificadas sobre os <strong>medicamentos<\/strong>, uma vez que, at\u00e9 ent\u00e3o, a prescri\u00e7\u00e3o de doses e uso dependia somente dos m\u00e9dicos.<\/p>\n<p>As 28 monografias trazem detalhes sobre fam\u00edlia, nomenclatura e a <strong>parte utilizada da planta<\/strong>. Tamb\u00e9m enfocam as contraindica\u00e7\u00f5es e as precau\u00e7\u00f5es de uso, al\u00e9m de alertar para os <strong>efeitos adversos<\/strong> e abordar <strong>intera\u00e7\u00f5es medicamentosas<\/strong>, vias de administra\u00e7\u00e3o e posologia. Dos 28 trabalhos, 17 integram a <strong>Lista de Plantas Medicinais<\/strong> de Interesse do Sistema \u00danico de Sa\u00fade (Renisus).<\/p>\n<p>Segundo a Anvisa, a expectativa do diretor Ivo Bucaresky \u00e9 de que o Memento seja uma fonte de informa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00fatil para a sociedade e, principalmente, para os <strong>profissionais da \u00e1rea de sa\u00fade<\/strong>, objetivando a<strong> orienta\u00e7\u00e3o da prescri\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>. Para o relator da mat\u00e9ria, a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o do documento <strong>\u201campliar\u00e1 o espa\u00e7o para os fitoter\u00e1picos<\/strong> enquanto<strong> alternativa terap\u00eautica, de baixo custo<\/strong> e f\u00e1cil acesso. Tamb\u00e9m apresenta importante <strong>impacto ambiental e social<\/strong> por promover o uso de recursos n\u00e3o madeireiros da flora brasileira\u201d, disse Bucaresky.<\/p>\n<p>A import\u00e2ncia do Brasil no setor \u00e9 grande e reconhecida, uma vez que <strong>possui um ter\u00e7o da flora mundial<\/strong>, com destaque especial para a Amaz\u00f4nia, que \u00e9 a maior reserva mundial de produtos naturais com <strong>a\u00e7\u00e3o fitoterap\u00eautica<\/strong>. Com tais recursos dispon\u00edveis, o Pa\u00eds tem uma privilegiada posi\u00e7\u00e3o para <strong>desenvolver as pesquisas<\/strong> e desenvolver os <strong>medicamentos fitoter\u00e1picos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>Potencial para crescer<\/h4>\n<p>O futuro \u00e9 promissor e alguns dados do banco IMS Health\/PPP confirmam a <strong>relev\u00e2ncia econ\u00f4mica do mercado fitoter\u00e1pico<\/strong> nacional. Conforme revelou a Anvisa durante o lan\u00e7amento do Memento Fitoter\u00e1pico, \u201cem 2014, foram vendidas aproximadamente 56 milh\u00f5es de unidades, faturando um total de R$ 1,1 bilh\u00e3o de reais. Estes n\u00fameros representam 1,9% em unidades e 2,8% em faturamento da <strong>participa\u00e7\u00e3o dos fitoter\u00e1picos no mercado<\/strong> total de medicamentos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Atentos a isto, o Minist\u00e9rio da Sa\u00fade (MS) e o Sistema \u00danico de Sa\u00fade (SUS) procuram enfatizar sua import\u00e2ncia com<strong> aten\u00e7\u00e3o especial na agenda,<\/strong> tendo como foco maior a Pol\u00edtica Nacional de Plantas Medicinais e Fitoter\u00e1picos. O MS, desde 2006, vem disponibilizando \u201c<strong>op\u00e7\u00f5es terap\u00eauticas e preventivas<\/strong> aos usu\u00e1rios do SUS, dentre elas o uso de <strong>plantas medicinais<\/strong> e <strong>medicamentos fitoter\u00e1picos<\/strong>\u201d.
